And so the world came out of its distant reserve, its cruel absences. The world came up to her, making its faces precise. All day long. It moved on so fast she could see herself see. She saw sight coming…What was not is. Presence comes out of absence, she saw it, the features of the world’s face rise to the window, emerging from effacement, she saw the world’s rising.

Drawing inspiration from the nuanced philosophical dialogues of Helene Cixous and Jacques Derrida, particularly their reflections on veiling and unveiling, the exhibition delves into the tensions between visibility and concealment. Dittler and Großkopf engage with drawings, sculpture, performance, video, and installation, transforming the intangible into material experiences and ephemeral encounters.
