out of rain, falling twice
Performative Installation
Théâtre de l' Etoile du Nord / Paris
2018
Out of rain, falling twice explores a practice in which body, objects, and space resonate with one another. The two performers engage with the sculptures, investigating how their form and material qualities can be experienced through the body, and how movements can emerge from entering into a dialog or a resonant relationship with them. The performance unfolds over two hours, emphasizing repetition, emptiness, and slowness. Visitors move freely among the objects in the performance space, becoming physically part of the situations and performative processes.
